When it comes to foundation I find that less is better. I prefer to stick with liquid foundation because it lets the skin breath while also giving good coverage. Below are my favorite brands and products that I use on my sensitive skin. All of these brands I love, but below are the specific products I used for each type of product.
Best Tinted Moisturizer: BareMinerals
This is my go to product for when I want a light touch of makeup and even my skin tone. BareMinerals has always been a favorite brand of mine, especially all of their foundations. I find the tinted moisturizer to be my favorite spring and summertime product because it’s so light and airy. You can apply it to the skin virtually anyway you want but I like to use a flat foundation brush, such as this one. You find this tinted moisturizer on Amazon or Sephora.
Best Powder Foundation: Ulta
This is the perfect example that makeup for sensitive skin doesn’t have to be expensive. Ulta has a great line of products and most of them are gentle on the skin and do not cause irritation. I specifically love the variety of powder’s they carry. Find your shade of their powder foundation at Ulta.
BareMinerals powder comes in a close second, but sometimes my skin can become oily and the Ulta powder handles this better. Find what works for you but these two brands are a great jumping off point. You can get the bareMinerals powder at Sephora.
Best Liquid Foundation: Becca
This is a amazing product for more full coverage in a liquid form. Becca makes a lot of sensitive friendly products but I primarily use their liquid foundation. This can be a bit pricier but gives great coverage without feeling heavy on the skin. You can find it at Sephora.
