When living with sensitive skin tanning is not always easy to do. I have very pale skin that burns very easily and traditional tanning is not for me. I also do not believe in any form of tanning, whether it’s under the sun or in a tanning bed. Our skin is a precious thing and it’s much easier to protect it than try to fix the damage after its done.
Most recently I discovered self-tanning products and I’m obsessed! With summer right around the corner it’s time to start consider these products. Below I’m going to go through my favorite products and why I think they are much better than natural tanning.

Best Tanning Water: Tanologist Tanning Water
This is my favorite product that I use all of the time because of its versatility. I love that it’s easy to put on multiple layers and build upon it. Plus its so easy to use and its hydrating on the skin. You just spray, buff it out, and your tan! The only downside is that it doesn’t smell great but worth it! You can buy it here.
Best Lotion: Jergens Natural Glow Daily Moisturizer
This is a lovely option for someone that wants something easy and hydrating. This gives a subtle glow that can be built onto without taking a lot of time. The lotion is easy on the skin and hydrating. It also is super affordable and you can get it on Amazon or Target.

Best for the Face: Isle of Paradise Tanning Drops
These drops are gentle on the skin, so much that I use them primarily on my face. You simply add the drops right to your everyday moisturizer and it gives you a glow! I tried it on the rest of my body but found I used a ton of lotion! Which it’s much easier to buy a lotion and not mix it yourself. Also this can turn out to be a pricier option if using a lot of drops at once. I prefer to use a tanning lotion or water for my entire body. I buy these drops on Amazon or Sephora.
